Yorkshire Joinery and Construction Ltd is a small, locally run company founded by Matt, A Royal Engineer veteran and a fully qualified and time-served carpenter & joiner with over 25 years experience in the construction industry. Matt has worked all over the world, bringing a wealth of knowledge and a broad understanding of diverse construction methods to every project.
Before establishing Yorkshire Joinery and Construction, Matt worked for several large construction companies, gaining extensive experience in groundwork, school construction, and projects for local authorities. He has contributed to multi-million-pound developments, further enhancing his capability to deliver high-quality workmanship on projects of all sizes.
We specialise in all aspects of joinery and are available for both large and small projects. Our services include full house refurbishments, kitchen refits, window and door repairs and installations, bathroom renovations, wall panelling, bespoke wardrobes, and much more.
Customer service is at the heart of everything we do. We work closely with you from the initial consultation through to project completion, ensuring the final result meets your exact requirements.
For larger projects, we offer complete project management, coordinating with trusted trades to deliver a full turnkey service. We also liaise with building control and structural engineers to ensure your home meets all current legal and safety standards.

I asked Yorkshire Joinery and Construction to build and install custom-made alcove shelving and cupboard units in my lounge. I warned Matt that I have high ceilings, uneven floors, walls which are concave on one aspect and convex on another. It was not a problem for him and he created the perfect units which fit the space and look better than I imagined. He also provided helpful advice on priming and painting the units which was appreciated I couldn't be happier and I highly reccomend YJC for... Great communication, very reasonable pricing, excellent craftsmanship(and unbelievable problem solving in old rickety housing!). All round great experience, Thankyou!

We opted to have a bespoke kitchen made for our qwerky cottage, once we had it designed and new a timeline for delivery we contacted Yorkshire Joinery, we are so glad we did, he came to see our cottage and was able to work out how to fit our units to our wonky unlevel walls, he was able to sort out every problem with no issues what so ever. We love our kitchen and felt comfrtable with Matt in our home.
